So many books! I'm excited for King of Ashes and The Compound as well as the new Frey. Also, not on your list, Amy Bloom's newest I'll Be Right Here. She doesn't get much attention but i love her writing. Happy June!
He has spoken publicly about using AI as a research tool. Just like someone would use Google. The publisher has publicly stated that he wrote every single word.
I didn’t love the book but I can definitely see the appeal for the right reader. Do I think it’s an AI written book? No I do not. It’s a satire and meant to be kind of a trashy pool side read. Definitely not high brow reading 😂 . Having read A Million Little Pieces, I believe he can write.
I know there’s been a lot of buzz online about him so I’ll continue to do my research so I can be informed.
June is such an amazing release month! I can't say how much I appreciate you having 50+ books on your radar, makes me feel better about my 20+ 🤪 The new TJR is my most anticipated, but plenty of these books will be in my summer stack!
I’m thinking What Kind of Paradise might be my #1 book of the year. 😮 I’ve got The Compound and Bury Our Bones on deck in my Kindle and I’ve got high hopes for each of them. 🤞
Maybe we say this every year, but doesn't 2025 seem to be especially filled with intriguing, exciting, and/or highly-anticipated new releases?! Thank you for the roundup here - so many I want to read!
So many new titles! I have lots that I’m looking forward to. My poor TBR…
Ha ha it’s never ending!

Have you read Amy Bloom’s memoir? I have it on my shelves and was just debating it.
I finished the James Frey today and have THOUGHTS. 🙃
Did you see that he wrote it with AI? I’m not going to be reading it after all.

I didn't mean to intimate the entire thing was AI. I've read his interview about how he used it.
I’m glad you read the article. It’ll be interesting to see how the industry navigates this new technology. I’m sure it’s going to be tricky!

I keep telling myself I should narrow it down more but I like options and so many things sound good to me. Life of a mood reader! 😂
I’m excited for the new TJR as well. Bonus that I’m going to her author event this week in Dallas.
Ahhh, so fun! Enjoy!!
And I definitely appreciate the options, the more the merrier!
I'm excited for Sounds Like Love! This summer is going to be great for new releases.
This year has been such a big win for books!
June is stacked! Thanks for putting this together for us. I'm excited about many of these and I'm sure we'll be chatting:)
